My Nation's UN Rating

Is my nation's UN Rating based solely on the level of civil rights, political freedoms, and the economy, or do other factors, such as the focus of my budget, influence my rating?

(i.e. could I remain a Democratic Socialist if I were to go from medium to high-level ratings for economy, or do I have to try to keep it at a certain level?)

No all of it is inside the ratings, since all of your issues influence (well at least one of the options do) those ratings.

NB: The stats shown on your nation page aren't actually the ones used to calculate your rating.

The rating is based upon, IIRC, personal freedoms, economic freedoms and political freedoms, while you only get to see Civil Rights, the Economy, and Political Freedoms. The economy in particular can be very different to your level of economic freedoms, while the others tend to be close.

The three rankings you can see will give you a rough idea of what your designation should be, but it's always possible to have them not match. I've had my nation at a point where it should have been an Anarchy, but was a Corporate Bordello.
