There are two updates each day and you get one issue with each update. And if you're only logging in once each day and still only seeing one issue, did you remember to click the update settings button after selecting two issue per day?

You get 1 every half a day (12 hours) so in 24 hours (or one day) you will have two. Sometimes if you log on and kep on after the update you will get another issue, you probably answered both but it only shows one answered (the second one being taken away). Well at least I think that is how it goes.
