I wanted to register the nation 'Ghost World' but found it was already taken:

Noticing the population is 5 million I thought 'damn, I just missed it', but then I noticed it hasn't been active for 29 days, so is at least that old. Furhtermore, looking at the nation's XML page, we find this:

So it seems the nation has broken, as updates aren't happening.

I heard about a nation: last activity 189 days ago.

This is a known issue.

Occasionally, newly created or newly moved nations don't correctly pick up the region properly. If a nation doesn't belong to a region, it doesn't update (or die). Thus, they just sit there until somebody moves them out and back in to a region.

Either way, they beat you to the name. Sucks, don't it.

Did a mod move it, seeing as it was active 12 hours ago?
