Today, when I joined the forum, my name is coming up as [NS]Errinundera, instead of just Errinundera. I cannot edit old posts and my posts count has gone back to zero.

What this is would be that someone else on the JOLT network has created an account with your username. The system, for some reason, to make the distinction between the two usernames puts an [NS] in front of the user who uses the JOLT message boards through the NationStates game.



Thats about how I understand it at this point. A NS Mod, NS Admin, or JOLT Admin might know more about this issue and why it happens.

This can also happen when there is a problem communicating between Jolt and NS - Jolt effectively creates two accounts, the second with the [NS]. For some reason you are only allowed to post using the [NS] one.

An admin can usually fix this.
