I'd like to register one of my puppets to log in to the forums, but when I click on the forums link from that puppet it always logs me in as Czardas. In addition, when I clear my cookies and then try to access the forums from that puppet, it doesn't validate me or log me in. How do I validate other nations on Jolt if I can't do it by clicking the forum link? (I have given that nation a valid e-mail address, etc.)

Registration is automatic when you create a nationname, but login no longer works. This is all part of our ongoing problems with the Jolt / NationStates validation interface. We're working on it (or more accurately, hoping Jolt will do something on their end to resolve it).

To log out, go to http://forums.jolt.co.uk/index.php? and click the logout link at the bottom of the page. Log back in with your choice of nations. Note that password changes may not translate to Jolt - your original password is the one that should work.

Yes, but when I created it I didn't give it my e-mail address. I only added that later (a few days ago, actually). The nation itself was created before that, but I never thought of using it for the forums until now.

The forum link is broken.

I know that. I want to know how I can register a nation that I created a while ago, and then recently resurrected, giving it an e-mail address so I could post on the forums. Unfortunately, the only way I know of to validate a nation is either to use the forum link (broken) or to create it with the e-mail address, which automatically validates it. Is there another way to validate/register, or do I have to just wait until the forums link is fixed?

Alternately, is there a way you people with your uber admin or mod powers can register the nation (Banduria)? It would be greatly appreciated.

registering isn't hard, of course: the more nation(s) you make, the more issues you have to deal with just make sure you know the password(s) for all your nation(s) :)

The problem has been resolved anyway. Thanks to all the mods who (tried to) help. ;)
