Question about reviving

Say that my friend's nation, which has been deated for inactivity. Say that he/she wants to revive it, but has no time to do so. Instead he/she tells me her/his email address (but not the password) and tells me to ask the mods to revive his/her nation. Is this allowed? I have the permission to do so, but will the mods reject me because I ain't the original owner? I'm asking this question because a friend (whose nation is called Duanium) was DEATed for inactivity. This is his email: supersceptile4007@yahoo.com
I've already requested for revival. Will they reject it?

By and large, we don't care. As long as it was deleted due to inactivity, we'll revive.
Of course, if your friend doesn't have 10 seconds to request a revival, I'm not sure how they'll have enough time to use the nation.

But to answer the Technical question...
1: Go to http://www.nationstates.net
2: Go to FAQ
3: Click Getting Help
4: Select Restore a Deleted Nation
5: Fill in the box below it
6: Hit Submit
Unless that nation has broken the rules (which doesn't seem likely considering you noted it got inactivated), it will be reactivated in a day or two.

Apologies to my esteemed colleague, but I want to add a codicil to this response. Due to the abuse of the nation restoration service by a few players, I've been adding this to certain revival requests:$nation restored. Please note that we prefer not to restore nations just because you noticed that they ceased to exist. Restoration is not a substitute for logon, nor a way to keep a friend's nations alive. We prefer live players behind each nation. Thanks. These notices typically go out to players whose nations have been dead 28-30 days, or who are requesting the restoration of an inactive Founder during an invasion, or whom I simply recognize from regular monthly revival requests. Nation restoration is a service we provide to allow long-time players to return to the game, not a convenience so that you don't have to remember to logon, nor a sneaky way to make it look like somebody is still playing.
You don't need to be logged on to file a nation revival request. Therefore, a revival request shouldn't take longer than the time it takes to type in the nation name (no, we don't need the email address either). As Hack says, if your friend doesn't have enough time for that simple process, he's too busy to play his nation.
