When trying to validate my e-mail it says this...... what do I do?
Your email verification failed. Please check to ensure that you have copied the entire URL to the locaton bar in your browser.
If you continue to have problems. Please submit a getting help request.

You posted, therefore it worked. It's a known issue due to the Jolt/NS interface, and both sets of admins can't seem to track it down. Mark it down in your 'book of weird' and move on.

I posted from the home page because I was unable to access the forum page from my nation page....... is that how I have to do it from now on?

Read elsewhere in this forum - the nation page link is broken ... for everyone. It'll be fixed when Jolt fixes it. And yes, it's taking too long.
