So the Nation States is shut down? Any idea on the time before it returns.
Also a suggestion When N/S goes down a splash page stating this would be helpful. I can only imagine how many people are believing that their connection is somehow messed up.

When the server goes down for maintenence or scheduled upgrades, we post a splash page.
When the server unexpectedly goes offline, or the power goes out in the data centre, or any of half a dozen other unplanned and unpredictable events happen that we don't know about in advance, there is no splash page. Nor would it matter if there were, assuming the server is physically offline. You've got to have a webserver running to see a web page.
any idea when it will be up again?just a rough indication, minutes, hours days, what?

If I knew what was causing the problem and had the tools to fix it, it would be up by now. Since I don't, I imagine we'll have to wait until one of the admins reads their email and restarts the server.

i noticed at about 3pm GMT, but it might have been before that. so it was between 12pm-3pm GMT by my guess.

The game shut down very close to 2pm GMT, maybe 1.55 pm GMT.
I remember that 2.02 pm it was impossible to use.

Sounds like it had shut down barely minutes after I had logged off this morning (my time or about 2pm GMT). I'm sure everyone is familiar with these numberous shutdowns, for whatever reason. Hope it's back up shortly and they don't have to do a backdated reset again. :(
I remember at about 7:30-8:00 CENTRAL U.S. time, it wasn't working. And I thought my connection was messed up, but I guess not. I am oh, so smart.

Any time the main site goes down, all sites that need to access it also go down.
As, ya know, they can't access it.
