"The Sultanate of LorveN
UN Category: Capitalist Paradise
Location: The OTF Conglomerate

The Sultanate of LorveN is a huge, economically powerful nation, notable for its strong anti-business politics. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 334 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins,... Citizens pay a flat income tax of 66%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.

Corporations cut costs ..."

The goverment is small or omnipresent?
Private enterprise is illegal or is the goverment?

This sort of thing happens. It's quite common to have contradictory statements in your national description. As such, yes, you have both a small and a large government.

I think what it means is this: you do have a large government. However, your overall profile fits with that of nations that one might expect to have small governments. Equally, private enterprise is illegal...but one might expect the existence of corporations.

It's not a bug, per se: it's just the way the game works, or so it seems. Over time, consistencies can appear.

Indeed. There are Anarchies with massive governments, too.

Anyway, if that satisfies you, then that's probably it for the thread. If you want an official response, wait for the mods to turn up.
