Population=time question

I am starting a club for nations that were created before 2004. As many ressurected nations, apparently, have lost their original creation date, I was wondering if there was some equasion using the nations' population to figure out the join date.

Thank you, mods/admins! :fluffle:

Well, resurrected nations don't grow while they're... gone. If a nation was gone for only a day before being brought back, it'd hardly lose any size, but if one was gone for six months its population would be hundreds of millions less than a nation created on the same day but never deleted, you know?

Thats a good point. I never thought of that.

Does anyone know of a definate way to check the original join date of resurected nations?

Only those that died pre-migration.

The reason I ask this is because Lunatic Goofballs claims to be from before 2004.

While I'm quite sure that I remember him, I don't know about others that would claim the same thing.

Is there any way at all to check this?

In theory? Yes.

Are we going to be interested in checking the creation dates of dozens of nations? Certainly not.

As for LG... "rebirthday: Fri Apr 16 03:02:10 2004"

If they know how long they were inactive and their population, you can make an educated guess. Normally 500 mil. = 3 months, you can use that as a guideline. If a nation was inactive for 6 months before being resurrected, its population would be about 1 billion less than that of another nation created at the same time and logged into continuously. Of course, there are the population bugs, which make things difficult.

Ok, I'll give that a try.

Thanks for everyone who contributed.
