Well, I'm at a university atm and i was wondering if there would be any issue if my roomate also had a member in the UN. Would our IP addresses be the same, etc? What about other nations just on campus?

I'm assuming that if you're using the internet provided by the University then you're running on a shared serve, in which your IP would be the same. However, then again, there's a bunch of university studens out there, including myself, that are in the UN, and most likely have co-students on NS, and they don't seem to have a problem.

We use more than IPs to track UN multis. As long as you are not sharing a single computer (or using a library or lab computer for NS), you should be fine.

I know for certain that the IP is different (at least the last couple digits) for each of our lab computers at my university. I Mod/Admin a number of offsite forums and have run test checks on my own IP addresses, which is how I know. Maybe Mac has just experienced different setups at other universities.

It might very well be. I know that our labs and the library are two different IPs, that's for sure. But I think that the IPs within each area are the same - but I might be wrong. I'm not really good at computer administration and the such, I was just offering my two cents knowing that if I was wrong a moderator would correct me.
