In this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=9652093&posted=1#post9652093) thread, down at about posts 13/14, the order has been jumbled. I thought this was sorted ages ago?
So what is actually happening? Is it a glitch, Jolt, or something more horrible?

I've never had this confirmed, nor do I have server-level access to Jolt's servers ... but I think the forums are on a clustered server. Each post is put on whichever server (I'm guessing two or three physical machines) the load-balancing algorithm decides to place it on. Usually, this process is transparent to the user, but occasionally the different boxes have slightly different timestamps. When that happens, we get out-of-sequence posts.
Jolt server maintenence is the responsibility of Jolt admins and staff. None of the NS mods or admins have direct access to the forum machines, though the admins have access to our specific game server. Maybe SalusaSecondus has a better picture of the physical configuration, maybe not. In any case, t'aint much we can do about it.
