If you've joined the UN, and a resolution(s) have been lawed in your nation, and then leave the UN, will those laws still be in place in your nation? Or are they all abandoned?

When a UN Resolution is passed, your nation's statistics (Civil Rights, Economy, Political Freedoms) are altered accordingly and will remain altered even after your nation resigns from the UN. (EDIT: But after leaving the UN, you can always answer normal issues in such a way as to change your nation's statistics to whatever you like.)

That is stupid - you should be able to adjust your statistics to whatever you like after you leave the UN...

Why? Your nation is affected by what happens, regardless of whether you change your mind later.

Let's say (hypothetically) that your nation was hit by a hurricane in it's current region. You decide, "this sucks, I'm moving to higher ground." Despite the fact that "A fleet of military-grade choppers will fly in and physically transport $yournation to a better location", do you think that all the damage from the hurricane should be instantly healed by that move?

History is cumulative. If you made a bad call by joining the UN, it will take time to revert the changes. Deal with it.

The stats dont make your nation. You can rp revoking the laws and such passed by the UN, after you leave the UN that is. The great thing about freeform rp is that you dont have to rely entirely on computer generated stats.
