what we want to know is...CAN our nations be restored??
If you'd just put that info in the announcement, I think a lot of people, like me, would relax.

Making threads in annoying capitals does not help anything, it will not make the mods happy. So, just chill. It will be all okay. trust the mods. :)
Before this thread gets locked, I suggest you read the stickied thread from start to finish. It will explain about as much as everyone knows.

First and foremost, DON'T PANIC!
At the moment we only have guesses as to what the problem is, since we can't tell what exactly the problem is until [violet] or Salusa get on. Currently we think the server disk ran out of space again.
But we are pretty much certain that the nations screwed up can be restored *knocks on wood* (they better be, at least! Reploid Productions is currently a 0 of 0, too!)
As soon as we have any new information, we will immediately pass it on to the players.

Here's the simple answers:
Your nations will be restored.
Will they be restored to the exact point when they failed? No. They will be restored from the latest backup.
When was the latest backup? We don't know. Probably sometime within the last week.
Will new nations be restored? Anything created after the last backup will be lost. Sorry. For what it's worth, new nation creation has now been disabled.
WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED!!!?? It will be fixed when it's fixed. Mods can't do anything. This is a job for Admin, and the last time took about 7 hours once they got started. As of this instant, they aren't online, and thus haven't started.
Be patient, and don't log on to your nations. That's all we can tell you right now.
