O.K., I posted an issue about this ages ago but I have recently done some new work so wondering if anyone can please help.

isearch.com keeps opening Firefox and trying to access its website.

I have used every program possible (Adaware, SpyBot, AVG, Nortons, Hi-Jack This ....etc).

I have gone to all types of tech forums, including the Firefox forum and although I havent got round to joining and posting on there, I have gone through all of the manual removal directions I can find.

So pretty much, there is no registry entries for isearch, and no files related to it on my hard drive etc.

I hav been playing with Zone Alarm, and if I block Windows Explorer then it doesnt come up at all, but thats the only thing that affects it.

If anyone thinks they can give some help, please ask questions or post, even if it doesnt definatly fix the problem, isearch is a pain in the @$$ and I want to get rid of it.

Thanks

I'm using ZAPro and Firefox, and have not had the problem.

Try Microsoft's Antispyware Beta; it's pretty good at ferreting these things out. CounterSpy would be another good one to try.

Once you've got it cleared out, I would suggest SpyBlaster, which blocks naughty spyware from every getting onto your system.

Good luck!
