Something REALLY weird is going on around here.

Replies are visible and quotable before they're posted. I can see posts that say they're from 4:52 when it's only 4:46. I want to ask you, What is going on around here? Are we psychic and traveling in time? Or is Jolt just fooling with us? Is this a rogue admin playing a trick on us? Or does it have to do with the fact that NS logs me out every time I try to click a link?

I have it too, in any case it isn't the last you mentioned.

Speculation, with no basis in knowledge:
Are you using http://forums.jolt.co.uk or http://forums2.jolt.co.uk? It's possible you're seeing a variant timestamp between two servers in a cluster, or a syncronization error between paired forum servers. I actually have no idea how our forum servers are physically configured at (shiny plastic modernistic) Jolt HQ, but that's what it sounds like to me.
If so, it should correct itself once somebody notices and synconizes the system times.
I'm in the forums, not forums2. Oh....some people use forums2, so their posts are six minutes later than ours. That does make sense. Thanks.
[edit]Frisbee, which ones are you using? Because your post is three minutes before the actual time.

We don't have to link to an example anymore :p

It is pretty bizarre seeing someone quoted before the actual post.

Can we do it again?
edit: nope, seems Fris is the problem in this thread :p

Yeah, I think Fris is on the wrong forums, the forums2 and not the "real" ones.

If that were the sole problem, perhaps we could test?
I posted this post through the forums2.jolt.co.uk forums. So if the servers being out of sync is all that is causing the time warp, maybe quoting this post would do something odd?
I've never seen this happen before, but you can see it in most of the threads...people are posting replies to posts that suddenly 'slip' and come AFTER the reply. If it was an issue with the servers, why is this just happening now? Does anyone remember this being a problem before?
Edit: case in point...I posted AFTER eXtremia, and here I am, before that post.

It has a timestamp of 14:27, right now it is 14:32, so I dunno, looks alright to me.
EDIT: The forum thinks it is actually 14:39... I think the time on Forums 2 is right, forums is wrong... as my PC is synced to the atomic clock, and I hope that is not wrong.

Couldn't a mod just put up an announcement telling everyone to use forums., not forums2.? That would be a quick solution.

Yeah. The time on Forums 2 is right, I just checked my watch, synchronized according to the clock in my high school, which is synchronized according to the atomic clock. I'm going to try to change it (on my account).
Okay, I need to ask; Can this be fixed?
In the begining it was funny, now I'm getting frustrated.

Things like this can only be fixed by Jolt.

And we all know how long that will take, they'll probably get to it after they fix the profiles.

It may have something to do with our having a new mod (Euro).
