Stats not updating

Ok, I have a question regarding the three main stats. I've responded to about 7-8 issues now and they've still not changed from their initial values of "Superb, Good, Superb". Now I know I've made several decisions to at least improve the Civil Rights (allow Harry Potter, same sex marriage and remove all restrictions on free speech) but it still haven't gotten any higher. Is there something wrong or is it perhaps supposed to be this hard to go from "Superb" to "World Benchmark"? (Several people in my region seem to have increased from lower grades quite easily.)

Appreciate any help.

I think I'm having the same problem, as with three or four issues I've chosen options which should boost my economy but it, along with my other two stats, hasn't changed at all.

These things can take time, not just happen overnight. Also, this part of the Issues FAQ (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=421198) although it's not exactly your problem, it is pretty similar:

Why is my issue still 'pending legislation' after the update?

This is a bug, a fairly common one. To fix it simply move your nation out of your region and then back in. The issue should enact after the next update.

Try it, you've nothing to lose.

Appreciate any help.Once you've reached a very high level of anything (World Benchmark for civil rights and political freedoms, Powerhouse for economy) the stats are harder to change. And civil rights are very difficult to change themselves. I just got mine up to Excessive after 2 weeks of trying.

However, do try moving out of your region, and back in again as TNM suggested. If that doesn't help, just keep answering issues. I can point you to a few that definitely raise economy and political freedoms; civil rights take more time.

And I think there are others; that's far from a complete list.

Thanks for the responses. I'll try moving out and back into my region and then simply keep answering issues. Today I legalized public nudity (did not make it mandatory) so we'll see if anything's changed when this ruling goes through.

Update: No change. I assume it really does take a while to raise Civil Rights from Superb to World Benchmark.
