Issues automatically getting dismissed

A number of times I’ve chosen my country’s stance on an issue only to find that it has been dismissed or switched to a different option then the one I decided on. It doesn’t change right away but it happens latter, usually when I come to check for a new issue. I’m wondering if this is a bug or if I have some settings in my web browser messed up. Its rather annoying as my country has now outlawed elections instead of making them mandatory due to the results of my last question.

Thanks in advance,

That's not good. Well, I would say it is your browser. What browser do you use?

Is it possible someone else has access to your account? Try changing your password to see if it stops. You can also leave your region and rejoin it. When you move, the system has to reload your nation, this can help if its a bug.

I conveniently just moved, hopefully that will stop the error. If not, I’ll try changing the settings for Firefox or switch to IE when using NationStates. Thanks, both of you, for the help.

I use Fierfox. It does strange things on NS for me sometimes. So that may be the problem. But somehow I am doubting it.

Is there anyway that someone does have your password? Do you use a proboards forum?

The browser itself shouldn't be causing problems like that. I and a few of my friends have all been using Firefox as our browsers and have been members of NS for months now. So far noone has had a single bug like the one you're describing. I would say it's more likely to be another person logging on to your account like someone already suggested. Personally that sounds more plausible than being a browser problem.
