I don't know if it's been suggested before.

But I was thinking that perhaps nations should be able to build wonders.

These wonders could be divided three different ways.

Internationl Wonders: Where any nation from any region can build it.

Region Wonders: Where only nations from that region can build it. If a nation has a region wonder, but decided to leave that region, the wonder will be left behind and up for grabs to the other nations of that region.

National Wonders: Where only that nation can build it.

Buildings wonders should count for extra points for the ratings. International wonders count for the most points, the region wonders count for the medium # of points, and national wonders count for the least amount of points.

Of course, it's just a thought. I'm sure you're thinking it's too complicated, but at least I can suggest it!!! :D

Which is why I am constantly wondering why they still insist on leaving "ideas for improvements" in this forum's description. If every single suggestion for improvement is rejected because they won't be improving NS, why have that in the description?!

This is not true. We're always willing to give new ideas a look-at if they're easy to implement and good. This wonders idea doesn't make any sense to me, and I don't know what wonders are, but I'm guessing they have something to do with the seven wonders of the world. Introducing such a system would be complicated and totally unnecessary; I advise putting this in the NS2 forum.

Yeah. From what I've seen, small changes that are truly helpful are seriously considered, but big stuff that would take an insane amount of coding for only a small benefit are generally given short shrift.

Um, I play age of empires so I know what he means. what freetruth means is that nations, regions, or the international community, could build a "wonder" which is basically like a landmark that will leave a legacy. (I.E. the pyramids)
