Here are just some of the things I think this game should have.
1) Nations should be able to choose a specific research in science/technology. When they choose it, they have to wait for that research to be finished. In order for the research to be finished, they have to choose what type of things they have to do in order to have that science/technology done. Some steps will lead it to finish researching and have that science/technology in hand and some steps will make it slower to have it done.
Once they finish researching that science/technology, they will be the only nation that have it and what that science/technology can bring to the nation is quite a lot of stuff actually. For example, if the science/technology was a cure for cancer then the nations health system will boost up and there will be less death rate. And also make it so that it's able to build something wonderful for the nation or more physicist or something like that. And when it's able to build something then that construction will also have an effect in the nation, like maybe increase civil rights, economy, health, etc.. etc.. whatever it is.
Also nations can trade with each other science/technology once they have that researched. They can trade it for anything with other nations, for currency, military, other science/technology research they have, etc.. etc.. whatever it is.
2)Nations should be able to establish embassy's in other nations and regions. They should have spy's. And spy's are able to do lots of things to other nations like steal science/technology, crash their economy, ruin their political system, etc.. etc.. many things.
3)Currency exchange rates for nations. While everybody have their own currency, we could all develop an exchange rates of currency for every nation. Rates are based on the nations economy and trade.
