Hi all,
Having voted on my issue, it now says "click the link for your country to bring in a new law overnight". What link is this?

There's no link; you have to wait for one of two daily updates that makes the issue part of your national legislation. Up until that point, you can change your issue selection but after that you have to wait for the issue to repeat.
