I read in the rules that you can have more than one nation, but only one in th U.N.. I understand why, but I have a question. If I do not like my current nation, but I want to build up a new one before abandoning this one, how much time needs to pass between my first nation resigning from the U.N. and my second nation joining the U.N. so that I am not in violation of the rules? And, am I correct in the previous statement that you can have more than one nation as long as there are no more than one of them in the U.N.?

You can have more than one nation as long as only one is in the UN at any given time. The safety time zone that people will recommend between resigning from the UN and joining again with another nation is 24 hours, otherwise, you might get picked up as UN multi.
