im sure its just my computer, but when i view jolt the icons mess up, like right now all the smilies are out of order or mixed in with other little icons, and when i view a thread the quote button looks like the aim icon and the little thin that tells me a post is new i showing a green printer

Uhm... sounds like a personal problem. I've no idea what your computer is smoking, or even how to help.
Try rebooting if you haven't already... clear your browser's cache... check for viruses... right-click on all the pics so you can try and figure out what the computer thinks it's supposed to be displaying... tell it to visit a support group... just thoughts.

I've posted a few smilies below, in the following order. I don't intend for this to be smiley spam, I'm trying to help out RTW, to see if his computer's working yet. But if a mod really doesn't like it, well, there's no point in me even saying all that, I guess.

I've noticed FireFox putting things in the wrong places before. It doesn't always seem to get the complex things right but it can be a good browser for some things. Basically, the problem's at your end.
Another thing I notice from your screen shots is that your taskbar is extremely cluttered. You may want to get rid of some of the tasks - this should speed your computer up a bit.
Yours in dislike of certain parts of computer software but not others cos they can be quite nice at times if you just give them a chance,
