Avia Takes Two
05-06-2005, 20:05
Hey, I sent a message a while back about this and I haven't seen it resolved, so I'm going to try and post it here. Sorry if that gravely offends anyone.

I used to be superactive on these boards and stuff a while back, and things got too busy... and now I'm wondering - could you make Avia come back to life?

avia. yeah. that was my country. let me know.

I sent a message to the moderation, but nothing at all has happened.. and it's been a while.

If you could, that would be a glorious god-like, wonderful, awesome thing to do. I would worship you? Make you a cake? Give you shoulder massages?

Send a request through the Getting Help Page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help/pin=-1/target=help/) and ask them to revive your nation. You don't need to give them your password, all you have to say is "Please restore 'Avia' for me. Thank you, kind moderators." :)

Just because your case is unique doesn't mean that it's the same whenever everyone has a problem. Sometimes the tasklist does get backlogged. I'd wait for a moderator to reply to this thread before jumping to conclusions.

Yes, it may have been recently, but you never know... some days, I figure, it might be worse than others. ;)

Jjuulliiaann, please submit the task both logged in and logged out. Add a note referencing this thread please. This is a difficult problem for me to solve as I can't duplicate it.

I think

a) You have to be logged in and

b) You have to be using IE or some other such browser and

c) You need to be a puppet of a mod

to get your GH requests processed on time.

I think you need to butt out of Technical threads you don't have answers to. This is not the place for (misplaced) attempts at humor and incorrect technical advice. Salusa has already responded, so this was unnecessary and distruptive.

Back off, Czardas.

Fixed. It wasn't working with Safari because we tried passing a parameter implicitly as opposed to explicitly. We've fixed it and are now scouring the site for any other problems.
