I started the whole 'Fascism' thing out as a joke - when I saw what NS was about, just basically having a laugh and not taking anything too seriously - I thought naming my country 'British Fascism' would suit the Political mood (and there were too many Communist nations out there, I thought it was about time more Right-Wing dictatorships were around).

However I realise many people don't share the same sense of humour as me, and may think just because I play out the 'Fascism' role as my country, that I am a Fascist, Neo-Nazi or BNP/NF member in real life. I assure you, I am not (I like to consider myself politically neutral, having both Left and Right-wing tendencies)

Therefore to save confusion and flaming, I would like to change my country's name to one which is more light-hearted. Is there a way to do this or do I have to contact a moderator?

I have no idea where to post this...the moderator forums seem to be about abusing or technical problems, and this one is not.

We can't change nation names. It causes technical headaches you wouldn't beleive, so we just don't do it.

You've had your nation for no more than 3 days (June 05 nation). Just create a new nation and let this one die. Once you stop logging in, it will go away automatically after 28 days. If you REALLY want it to die, scramble the password so even you don't know it, remove the email address, and logout. That way, you can't ever change your mind.

I thought of doing that, but wouldn't that mean I would be unable to join the UN with my new nation until 28 days after today?

Naah, just go out of the UN with this nation, wait a day and then apply to be an UN-member with a new nation.
