I received the notice to validate my email address but the link fails. I tried both clicking the link in the body of the email and cutting and pasting it into the browser. Of course, neither worked because if one does not work neither does the other, but I'm stubborn. Please send me an email verification notice that has a working link or tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you

Well, since you're posting here, it worked. :) It sometimes says that, but the verification still works.

Is this meant to happen...every time i make a new nation i get a validation email and it says that i clicke on a link to the forums. I never normally come on the forums so i dont know why it is telling me i clicked on them. I get the email every time i make a puppet! :confused:

Yeah, that's somewhat annoying. Have to be logged in with a nation already registered at the forums (or not logged in at all), to avoid that message/email, by clicking 'forum' from the NationStates.net page.

Would be nice with a "Don't bother with asking me to register; I've already got an account at the forums" setting.
