For your first forum, your best bet is to use InvisionFree to learn how to Admin such a forum. This way you can learn the basics of forum making, forum designing and Admin skills that way if you decide to upgrade to a phpBB, vBulletin or any other type of web site-based forum, it'll be easier to make the transition.

I didn't say that. I used the word "transition" as meaning move metaphorically, not literally. ;)
