LOL

As for it being down, since Jolt's been glitchy, just trying refreshing once or twice. If you meant NS itself, it's been fine, as Tuesday Heights said.

That was a pretty fast recovery. How long was it, 10minutes?

Actually, it went down while admins and mods were having a chat. One of us noticed it, and [violet] really did kick the hamster. Downtime maybe 5-6 minutes, tops.

Ahh..I never even noticed. Sorry for the misinformation, then. Although...I am now wondering just how large a hamster one needs to power NS...

The trick is to not rely on one huge hamster (as does NS), but to break it up into smaller hamsters, spaced evenly apart so as if one goes down, all of the others panic and stop working as well.

Have you ever tried to break a huge hamster into smaller pieces? It's messy business.

What you really need to do is to clone the huge hamster and make many huge hamsters. Then they can take it in turns and not get too tired and stop ;)

But if you break down one huge hamster, the only problem is the pieces might not work at all. I would therefore suggest buying a large selection of smaller hamsters to fulfill your proposed plan.
