How did that happen?
In the UN list of what has happened recently etc
# Seconds ago: The Rogue Nation of Tiny lemming creatures was admitted to the UN.
# 1 minute ago: The Rogue Nation of Tiny lemming creatures applied to join the UN.
Huh? I'm confused
I thought you had to wait to be able to join the UN, or did they just re-apply and then click a link they already had?

Perhaps the nation had already applied to join teh UN. It forgot about it and reapplied. It checked its e-mails seconds later and saw a UN application. It clicked the link and was admitted to the UN.

Think about the order folks:
'1 minute ago' occured before 'seconds ago'; ie applied first, then admitted.
Hope this makes sense for you now

That has got nothing to do with it. When you apply you'll get an email at the end of the next major update.
Heiligkeits is probably right with his clarification :)

You are misunderstanding Wegason's question.
The nation applied 1 minute ago, and was admitted seconds ago. It takes around(a bit less) than 24hours for the UN application e-mail to come into your Inbox. Thus, it is impossible that the nation joined, and a minute later was admitted.
Understand what I trying to say?
What probably happened is in my above post
