Little tiny problem.

I have three nations - A, B, C - created in that order. I regularly access Nationstates from two different PCs.

From one of them, when I select "Nationstates" from my list of favorites on my web browser, I am automatically logged on to nation "B" - and that is what I want.

But - when I select "Nationstates" on my favorite list on the other PC, I am automatically logged on to nation "C". I want to be automatically logged on to nation "B".

I went into "settings" for nation "C" and changed to "do not log on automatically", and went into "settings" for nation "B" and changed to "log on automatcially". Then I deleted the "favorite" that logged to nation "C" on my internet browser, made sure I was logged on to nation "B", and created a new "favorite". I shut down the PC, and re-booted just in case.

No luck - I still get logged on to nation "C" automatically.

Any ideas?

Well - it was a good idea. Didn't work, but it was still a good idea...

Log out of your nation.
Close your browser (or at least, any open Nationstates windows or tabs)
Delete any and all cookies from www.nationstates.net or just nationstates.net
Close your browser completely if you hadn't already.
Reopen your browser and go to http://www.nationstates.net/
Log on to your preferred nation.
Go to the settings and set "Log in automatically?" to yes.
Click the "Update Settings" button.

That should do it.

(note that "Log in automatically?" is a server-side, not machine-local setting, though it should not affect your second computer unless you Update Settings on that nation on that machine as well.)

Or, change the preferred site to http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/19423/logout=1, which automatically takes you to the page you get when you log out of your nation.
