How to fix this bug. Everyone i have talked to agree it is a glitch... but how to fix it?

Please, any help would be appreciated.

You don't need to bump your topic in Technical. Once per day is all you're permitted here. I might check once every few hours. I DON'T check every minute.

NSEconomy figures are not official NationStates statistics. There is no guarantee that anything posted there has any real relation to what we use here. If you have a question about how they calculate things, post on their forums, not ours.

Firstly, what fris says is very accurate, as a mod fris knows all ;)

Second, what you said was a bit rude.

Now i will try and help you with your query, i must say though, this is no official, and i do not pretend to understand how thirdgeek works it out, however i do attend the London School of Economics.

Being pro-trade does not necessarily mean that you should see your trade deficit going down. My nations is a fierce advocate for free trade, every single issue on the subject i decide always for the free trade option. What has happened? I usually have the largest trade deficit in the region. Being pro free trade when others are not means other nations can export to you freely, meaning your domestic production is down, however, when you try to export, because they are not pro free trade, they put tariffs on you, meaning you export less and are therefore going to have a deficit.

Numerous real life examples to use would be the USA (massive trade deficit) and Britian (consistently has a trade deficit). The benefit of being pro free trade is that it helps business in your country get cheap materials and your economy grows as you are being pro business. So despite a huge deficit you will have a large or should have a large economy, which is another reason why you have a bigger trade deficit, because you have a bigger economy.

Hope that helps, although im sure i may not be accurate in what i said as i am tired.

So how can raising my tax rate help my trade deficit?

I just do not get it.

Thank you for your excellent reply.
