Custom flag problem

In change settings, where you can create your own flag, I uploaded one picture, but decided I didn't like it and tried to swap it for another. Unfortunately, the intial image doesn't change and it seems I am now stuck with it as the custom flag. I can still change to a default flag, but the custom remains the same.

Its not down to not refreshing the page, I did that and now days later, its still the same image. Has anyone else had this problem and can you tell me where I'm going wrong? Or is this the set case that first choice is the only choice. In which case, that's pants.

I believe your first choice is not your only choice. I have changed mine or altered it many times. What you need to do i think is clear the cache. Do this by holding control and f5. If you are using Firefox, go to tools, options, privacy and clear the cache. That should mean you can see your new flag.

If you want i can check your nation to see what flag you have. What is it meant to look like your flag?

It will load up after a period of time as well without emptying your cachemanualy

That's because it either clears your cache out anyhow, since you've flooded out the old images with the new, or your cache expires and it needs to refresh. Ctrl+F5 works the best when there's a custom flag problem since it replaces the cache of that page with a new one. If the flag loaded properly, Ctrl+F5 will bring it out of hiding.

I am aware of that. I've edited my post for clarification. Thanks

Another idea that i think works is to set it to a default flag then upload the new flag.

You still have to clear out the cache most of the time. Computers are stupid and stubborn.
