So i was addressing an issue a few days ago

My two choices were:

make organ donating compulsary

or

keep things the same (some guy saying the government should keep their hands off organs)

I choose the second one, however this showed up in my nation's profile "and organ donation is compulsory" which is very much what i did not choose.

Are you absolutely positive you didn't select the first option?

very positive, i checked it twice while " legisaation is pending"

This isn't a super big problem or anything, I can certainly live with it the way it is, this just a minor bug report.

Either you hit the first option unintentionaly, or the game was confused with the option it had to pass...That's all I can say. I've never seen this problem on the forums.

Heh, haven't seen this one in a while. There's an old bug that if you have multiple nations, issue selections on one nation can sometimes carry over to another nation. So if you selected an Option #1 on another issue in another nation, it's possible that Option #1 could have been selected on this nation.

Hmm...I didn't know that. Shouldn't it be in the Known Problems? Or was it 'corrected' and taken out of teh Known Problems page?

You can own as many nations as you want. Only 1 may be in teh UN however.

It's fine to be happy about your expanding post count, but remember that over-posting = post-whoring = spam = a forumban.

As for your problem, it may be some kind of bug that selects the opposite issue choice for your issue. Have you had similar problems with your other issues? Did you misread the text in your nation page? (It's always possible.)

Goobergunchia's bug response doesn't fit in this situation apparently, unless I'm missing something...

Czardas could be right, but there isn't a record of any such bug that I know of. It most certainly isn't in the KP page.

Lostdom already said that he was positive that he selected the option he wanted.
