Alright, I have a puupet nation, whose password seems to have been changed without my knowledge. Problem is, I cannot access it now, and since it was a puppet, I did not supply an email adress to the account, so there is no way to retrive my password.

I can prove that the nation is mine in several ways, mainly from the forums I have belonged to for over a year.

I need mod help for this. This nation is important to me, and I don't want a years worth of RP to go to waste.

Please Help!!

Basic check list:


Are you spelling the nation's name correctly?
Is Caps Lock on?
Are you including "The Republic of..." or whatever in the log-in?
Did the nation die?


Chances are, you checked those, but I'm just making sure before a mod comes in.

Also check:

Are you spelling the nation's password correctly?
Have you forgotten its password?
Are you under a delusion and the nation really never existed?

Hah, yeah I checked all those things. Chances I it wasn't hacked and I changed the password for some reason, then forgot to write it down. I'm still trying new possibilities everyday, but none are working.

If there is anyway I this could be remedied I would be really gratefull.

You might also consider searching for your puppet by name on "The World" page. It might be good to make sure it still exists. If so that will at least confirm whether you are spelling the nation name exactly right. It's page will also tell you the last time it was active so you can see if someone else has used it since you have last looged into it. Good luck in retrieving your nation.

I have done that already as well. It still exist on The World page as well as in my region.

Log into the nation's forum account directly through the forum. Password changes in the game do not carry over to the forum, so it will have the same password as when you originally created it. If you post here confirming you wish its password to be reset, I will do it for you.

Bingo. I have never accessed this forum on that account. I rarely post on the NS forums, and when I do I just use this account, as it is my original. I have other ways to prove it though.

There is a forum I admin with that account, and if you look at the date I created the forum it is a long time ago, proving I didn't just create that account to try and dupe the mods into giving me this nation.

That is the URL for the forum, and the account name is Darc Deimos, just like the nation name.

If you look at the profile of the Darc Deimos account, you can see that I created the forum and joined on 8-September '04. If you post there, I will respond using that account.

I really don't have any other way to prove it to you, so I hope that this is enough. My only other option would be to constantly message the mods every 28 days to have the nation restored, because I have no intention of abandoning the RP I have created with this nation.

Hahah here we go, it worked then? So if you could reset the password on my nation I would really appreciate it. I'll make sure I put an email in the settings so this won't happen again.
