I am trying to join the UN but the link I have in the E Mail that I received keeps coming up with an error missing country id and such. Can anyone help me with this as I would love to be part of the UN but currently just a lonely country on it's own
Thanks

Have you tried reapplying to the UN? The email's link is only valid for 24 hours.

I was under the impression it was 30 days...

 You're both wrong, it's five days. At best. Try re-applying.

Oh...Ok. Sorry about the false info then.

Thanks for clarifying

You're all wrong. It's good until it gets bumped out of the queue. The UN only keeps track of some number of applications at a time, and then it drops the old ones. I don't remember the number, it may be 500. So, if you wait until N nations apply after you, the email expires. (At least, this is my recollection of the system. I might be wrong.)

I've been trying to get this nation into the UN for weeks and nothing works. And I hope no one tells me "check the address; make sure it's right!" It is right. My e-mail is entirely open, and nationstates.net is even highlighted. I've tried all my different e-mail addresses, made sure that the e-mail wasn't expressed in more than one nation, did everything, and I NEVER got the confirmation letter, even though I used several different nations (all within a distance of each other) to apply to the UN.

I could have sworn I read some one say 5 days, but then maybe that's just the average time until that happens. Apologies to Heil, Wyrd, and Enrob.

Jal - Only one nation can be in the UN at a time - make sure you don't already have one. Also, wat do you mean by "confirmation letter" - the TG that's sent or the e-mail?

Do you receive any TG from the United Nations? If you apply with more than one nhation that has the same e-mail, you do not receive an e-mail for those nations. It prevents UN multying.
