situation:

sitting invader delegate 9 endorsements
defender delegate 12

update hits
(xml goes from 9 to 10)

no delegacy change.

looking at both nations, they still have their counts, so it couldn't have been it already updated once (the nation).

So...how is this possible?

mm..
the defender leader doesn't show up in the region's UN report, which would mean he already updated once before in another region...although he did not lose the endorsements given in the region when the region updated.

That's how the system normally works. Once a nation has been updated it is not considered in other regional updates at all. Any endorsements it has are kept whether they're from nations in the previous or the current region.

Picking a lead who apparently is unaware it already went through an update... a lesson learned I hope ;)

umm...ballo...wasn't it so that if a nation had already updated, moved to anther region, gets endorsements from others, then the region updates, he loses those new endorsements?

at least that's how it was last time we had this problem...

oh yeah, and i didn't pick any leader...retired, remember? :p

just was around....sorta :D

No, what we've mostly encountered before is when a lead is endorsed by a nation which has already gone through an update within the same update cycle. Then the lead nation is updated while the endorsement-giving nation is not. Keep in mind that endorsements are stored 'on' the receiving nation. The list of endorsements received is updated and considered for delegacy when the nation carrying those endorsements is updated.

And it's nice having you sorta around despite your retirement :)

yes, thinking about it, you're right, it was the endorsements giving nation that was updated, not the lead, and in this case, the other way around.

thanks ballo :)
