US spelling of defence
Is it just me who's noticed that?

Um, bear in mind that America seems to spell alot of things differently, or uses different words for different things. Classic example: Chips (Am)= Crisps (UK)

I think Cobdenia's more trying to convey, that the spelling of certain words should be consisten, whether it be spelt as in one English-speaking country or another.

That's the first time I saw Barry spelt with an E. And I thought I knew Australian English, given that I've spent my entire life here.
