Yeah, this is really starting to bother me. The same thing happened yesterday. And Jolt has also been a little buggy...

This seems to be routine. I'd say give it a few hours. They'll have it back up.

It crashed in horror, when it found out that Sal was getting a job. ' What?' it said, 'am I not enough for you?' Then did the binary equivalent of running off crying.

Or maybe it just broke; who am I, Einstein? ;)

I don't know much, but didn't something just get a "massive server upgrade"?

I just realized today is Friday the 13th.

Yes, it is Friday the 13th [shudder.] Anyone hazard a guess as to why the servers are down? Again?

Will we have to redo all that was done in the previous 24 hours? Again?

This is probably off topic, but Santa Barbara is ranked 1st in the region and 9th in the world for Largest Defense Forces (per capita).

Just felt like sharing. :p

Actually, it could be considered an on-topic guess hazarded as a potential reason why the site is down. I seem to recall this happening with an Arms Manufacturing day too, and I was 10th then. Coincidence? ... well, yes.

Actually, invisionfree seems to be having problems too. Or maybe its some new spyware's release day today.

So it is down N/S and we don't know when it will return,or if we will lose a day. It was nice that one time when the notice was posted.

Actually there was a report in which the Pentagon announced that the main servers that control the entire internet had been hacked into by some group operating from Europe.
should be something on it somewhere.

Somehow I don't think the Powers-That-Be will appreciate it if I start doing a more thorough port check, but that's enough for me to say that the NationStates server isn't accepting any connection in most standard forms. Meh.
