They will never share it with you. They rather be bored to dead, let the script play the game, than give it to you.

Most don't share because it takes a lot of hard work to make some of the more complex scripts; everyone can create scripts, you just need some time, energy and the ability to learn the programming language in question.
They rather be bored to dead, let the script play the game, than give it to you.
Just because you use scripts doesn't mean that the came is any less exciting; scripts can be very useful to collect data and other information that might be much more exciting than actually playing the game in any capacity is for some players.

That is the excuse I always hear on the internet. With the use of scripts, they have more times to do other things in the game. I have seen it in many games. You have to consider the broad picture. Because you have the scripts doing the work, you become less dependent of other people in the game. Your game friends need to be wanted. At first they all think you're the greatest, because you know it all, but after a while they become bored and search for other games on the net. At the end you sit there with all your information, but your region is slowly dying, because you took the challenge away for others.
Invaders will conceal their actions more and more, because the open honest attacks hardily work anymore. Part of them will leave, an other part will simply place puppets everywhere. Eventually, defenders will get bored too. The people need to be kept busy. In our region (Not where this nation is) I assign jobs to them. That makes them feel needed and special. A script would take that all away.
Well, your majesty, I'm not of the P.O.V. that scripts are the devil, if you don't mind. Just because you do things your way doesn't make your way the way, you know.
People just might happen want scripts for different reasons, and even so, there are rules as to what you can use scripts for as it is. Tuesday is also more than correct I feel, in that scripts let people access the game in a different fashion to what they normally could, so if anything they can increase game - time and interest. and if those people who can't be bothered to stay with the game do leave, then so be it ! Because who wants, and what is the point, of a pile of diss - interested ghost-players clotting the old place up ?
