Whenever I click on my nation's name and then "view player profile..."

...all I get is either a blank white screen, or an error message. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Everyone is. Consider the Profiles function to be disabled for the moment.

It's a Jolt thing, and Salusa is already in contact with Jolt admins about it. Patience.

Thanks, Fris! :)

Everyone can see their own profile by clicking on the http://assets.jolt.co.uk/forums/nation_states/top_profile.gif button, but you can't see your profile or anyone else's by clicking on their name in the forums. I just tried it in three different skins and it's universally disabled in all of them.

It'll be fixed when it's fixed. In the meantime, learn to live with it.

Why would anyone want to see their own profile anyway?

...no offense intended.

Well, for one thing, when you click on the "profile" icon that Fris mentioned, it brings up subscribed threads and all kinds of other fun options like editing your sig and such.

Viewing your profile the way other players see it (which can usually be done by clicking on your username on one of your posts, IIRC) can be useful, because among other things, it displays average posts per day since the account was created. I have used this a few times myself.

Edit: On a related note, "Who's Online" seems to be down. I use this function frequently to help me keep track of when I need to post in my RPs. But I get the following when I try to use it:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '[' in /usr/home/joltweb/www/includes/functions_online.php on line 619

Are Salusa and Jolt aware of this, too?
