For some reason when I'm lookin at a pg, a seemlingly randon word comes up with it as a link. For ex when I was lookin at one of my smaller countries, it said, "The government watches the people closely" or somethin to tat affect and watches was as a link, when I clicked it, it brought me 2 a searchenige tat had "watches" typed into it.

Any idea what this is?

You've got some sort of spyware/malware that snuck into your computer and allows automatic linkage within pages. Or possibly you've installed some 'helper' toolbar that links to advertiser's sites. Somebody will probably respond with more specifics, but for now I'd run some adware / spyware sweeper programs. It's on your computer, not ours.
