Do you have a spam filter with your e-mail? What service do you use? If possible, go to your e-mail, and turn off any sort of spam blocker, or turn down the level of the spam filter.

In 99.5% of cases, the problem isn't on our end. If it's not in your spam filter, it's probably in your ISP's spam delivery list. If you're using AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, or dozens of others, they have VERY aggressive spam filtering, and you can probably log on to your account online to view held mails.

There is also the possibility that you used an email address that you forgot you used, or none at all. Check all your old email addresses.

Also, you don't need to bump technical and moderation topics more than once every 24 hours.

In the past I have successfully received email from you and I haven’t changed my settings. Also doesn’t it count as activity by posting.

Thank you responding.

Previous activity doesn't mean that your ISP hasn't added it. If I report a post to Yahoo as spam, I believe they add that entire domain to their spam list unless someone complains.

Your fourm activity is totally irrelevant to your game activity. You must log in to your nation on www.nationstates.net to keep your nation active.

Who's job is it to send new passwords?
Frisbeeteria

It's an automated process. Mods don't have anything to do with it.
The Scandinvans

So it just goes through the requests and changes the passwords?

That's a double positive. Did you mean "isn't" working?

If you sent in multiple requests, each one reset the password again. You'll just have to wait for the last one to arrive before it will work (and you'll have several "failed logins" showing up, of course). Sorry.

Sorry about the typo and I will wait and by the way I think I logged in at a other place and that it can allow to access the account.

Just to prove something in this thread, I logged out and kicked off a "lost password request" on the nation of Frisbeeteria. Stupid, actually. Shoulda used a puppet.

Anyway, I put in two password requests under my original email address, then cheated and got Admin to change my email address, and sent in another one. I sent the first two to my Yahoo address, and the final one to my broadband provider's mailbox (suspecting Yahoo might have eaten them, which it didn't). First one went in around 4:00 PM today, second about 4:30, and the last one at about 6:30. All three arrived in my mailbox timestamped 9:12 PM. The last one was the only one that worked (as expected).

If you didn't get your requests in a similar timeframe, then the problem is again, most likely on your end.

You are correct porably and that I should change my email address but do I just email the admin and ask him to change the password to my brother's account and would that be okay?

No, I shouldn't have mentioned that. I got away with it because Admin has proof of who I am. That isn't the case with you.

Just be patient, maybe put in one more request. If it's not resolved within 24 hours, post here again and we'll have a look-see at other options.
