When does UN voting end?

For a regional referendum on the latest UN proposal (the outcome of which will decide the delegate's vote), I'm trying to decide when to close the referendum and cast my vote. I want to close it as late as possible (to give everyone time), but still cast the delegate vote in time before voting ends in the UN itself.
At what time of day does the UN normally close the poll station? The current vote is supposed to end on "Monday, 2 May" - does that mean Tuesday, 0:00 GMT, or Monday 12:00 midday, or some other time?

I would assume during one of the updates of that day, probably the first major update, but I can't say for sure.
Posted from the The New Tech (and Mod) Forum FAQ:
Update times
Major: Between 2 to 4 AM EST in my experience - Exact ending time is variable, but can be verified by the new UN Rankings being published.
Minor: I haven't figured out when this has been ever since the Jolt move, but I'd guesstimate between 2 to 4 PM EST.

Speaking as a delegate, I can tell you that I close the polls in my region the day before voting ends to insure that I get my vote cast before voting ends.

Empirical observations suggest that voting closes sometime between 1 and 2 PM Eastern Time. I'm not sure what impact Daylight Savings Time has had on this data.
Incidentally, voting in the pre-Jolt era ended at exactly 5 PM Eastern Time. Is there any way this could be restored?

Is that 2-4 AM EST on the same day, or on the next? As an example, take the proposal for Defining Diplomat Immunity. Does it close within the next three hours, or the same time tomorrow?
