My region originally had a WFE of 813 characters and spaces.

Since introducing bbcode (color and bold text, etc.), the most characters (and spaces) I can get is 538.

So, does anyone know if the Webmaster has reduced the number of characters allowed for a WFE -- or does the bbcode use up "extra" characters over and above the actual ones used to create the code?

Does anyone know the NS "rules" for WFEs? Do lines [hr/] make a difference? Or is that just 5 characters?

I'd love to be able to have my 813 characters back again :(

think the max limit of characters includes whatever bbcode you have used..

Yes, I understand that the bbcode characters are counted. So [color=red] comes to 10 characters.

But EVEN counting bbcode characters, I have an upper limit of 538 characters and spaces. Without code, our original WFE had 813 characters and spaces.

So, what's the difference. Or has there been a "reduction" in the space available.

Me, I'd like more space ... but certainly as much as I used to have.
