I've just got a question...
I've recently had a lot of political freedom increasing/decreasing issues, and even though I choose the choices that increase my political freedoms, they decrease on my nation page...
I'm so confused????

Issues can have unexpected consequences. Also, if you answer more than one issue at a time, all of the issues will come into effect at once.

You answer an issue, and then your next one eraeses all the badness/benefits it providedWell, not completely. It doesn't erase it, it just has its own effects, which can sometimes conflict with previous issues'.

... and you know this how? I'm pretty sure that if I don't have access to the game code, neither do you.
Let's say taxes are at 10%, and an issue raises them 50% of current rates. That takes you to 15% taxes, if I'm doing the math correctly. Let's say the next issue reduces them by 50%. Do they drop back to 10%, or do they drop to 7.5%? Percentages would say one thing, direct values might say another. Or could there be other factors?
Do you know for certain how this was calculated? I'm a mod, and *I* don't know. That's why I don't make definitive statements about how the game works, and neither should you.
