Suggestion..

A simple suggestion;

Alot of RP goes on in the forums and it is hard to keep track of whats going on with each nation. What would be a nice touch is for a form of blog or update system for each Nation so whoever is running the nation can post updates, ideas, theologys and such about their Nation and its events.

It can post about what it belives in, they can post which ideal they chose in "issues" so other people on NationStates can see whats going on with the nation rather than visit ALL the forums and try and keep track.

Just an idea.

That's probably a bit much for the mods to undertake. They already run two sites, anyway.

A lot less radical ideas were turned down, so this is almost an assured no. But really, I don't want to sound rude, and I hate to be a jackass, but keeping a blog of over a hundred threads on I.I. alone is impossible for anybody awake for twenty-four hours.

First, I think pointing to your own blog or regional forum in the signature file is a good start. After that, I like it when I see people's NSWiki entries. Though I don't have my own, I think it is a way to sort of direct traffic where you'd like it to be.

Now I have my own radical idea ... I'd love to see in addition to the "motto" that players can enter their country's ideal political compass ... perhaps that is redundant due to the three primary stats, but it just seems that the issues are worse than pitching machines and throw a lot of junk our way.

My point is many of us are trying for one direction, but our issues just never seem to get us there.

keeping a blog of over a hundred threads on I.I. alone is impossible for anybody awake for twenty-four hours.

I did not mean it to be faithfully about what happened in any threads but by posting information of any kind about your nation so other people can interact more in RP's and just know more about what you want to do with your nation.

It allows people to take more control of how they want their nation to act with less programming.
