It's are understanging that newer nations or lesser nations are put in the pacific. We would just like to know why.

New nations have to be created somewhere, so they get created in one of the five "Game regions": The Pacific, and The (North / South / East / West) Pacifics.

Once created, they can be moved to any region desired. Why is this being "shuved"?

Nations can go anywhere they want. We just tell them where they start.

Still maybe it would be better if they started in random places.

One of the things to consider is that player created regions do expire. In order to randomly seed a new nation into a region _fairly_, the game would have to keep track of the status of new regions. Moving a newbie to a region where the regional founder and delegate weren't around, might be a bit confusing to a new player. (I'm going to stress might, as some players might quickly just move along into another region.)

The other thing is there may be some regions that wish to be invite only. *shrug*

Besides, wouldn't it be unfair if your region grew by 10 people that day? You should have to work to earn your region members...

That brings up why i asked the question in the first place.
I was asked by at least three nations to join them then one informed me all newer nations and ones lacking in envolvement are put in the pacific, thats why i inquired. I find it interesting that only admins are replying to this

Everyone, including moderators like me, started in a feeder. It's not discriminatory.

Neither Mikitivity nor Heiligkeit are admin or moderators. However, given that you've posted in the technical forum, it should not be surprising that admin and mods are answering your question.

Lackig of invovement and lesser nations? Look at the moderators. Are they lesser involved and are they lesser nations? They all started out in a feeder.

Why is it called a feeder,
it makes it sound as if the new nations are helpless
when really the pacific doesnt do anything to help its just a place

It feeds in new nations.
All regions are just places.

It is called a feeder because it feeds new nations into the game. No one has ever been insulted by this term before...

In fact, if I remember correctly, some of them are still in the feeder regions.

Exactlly.

being in a feeder region does not mean your a nonentity or lowlife. It just puts you in a region.

IT's like saying I want a telegram that I can respond to when the admin welcomes me to teh game. Pretty pointless discussion, heh?

Not really. You seem to be the only one concerned about this.

Admin has spoken, as have numerous others, and the answer isn't going to change.
