A. Problems Joining the UN
As seen before, there’s occasionally a problem in requesting an e-mail confirmation when joining the United Nations. Sometimes, the player never receives an e-mail. Give the e-mail 24-36 hours, and if you still haven’t received it, try again. If it doesn’t work again, check your spam filter settings on your e-mail. If after that, it won’t work, there’s really nothing that the moderators can do you for you. I suggest creating a new e-mail address, temporarily. Obviously, you don’t have to make this your new e-mail address, but G-mail is known for receiving UN applications with no problems.
*This is only a temporary thing, but if you don’t know anyone with G-Mail, then feel free to telegram me (Euroslavia) your e-mail, and I’ll send you a g-mail invite as soon as I can. I have 50 of them, so I can hand them out for a while.

B. How do I create my own Region?
Under the World Factbook Entry in your region, there is a button that says "Move to a new region". Click it. At the top of the page it says "create your region". Click that, and create your own region!
C. A Regional Flag?

It probably isn’t going to happen in the near future.
We have no current plans to implement this feature or any variation thereof.
D. Setting a Font Default?
The font default for Jolt is Sans-Serif. This is probably the most readable font out of the rest of them. There is no option to make another font your default font. You’ll just have to change it every time you post.
One reason that you don’t see it too often is because some players get irritated when someone else uses a different font that is less readable.
One question - why would you want to move from the default? It's by far the most readable. It's been my experience that alt-fonts tend to add more irritation than they're worth. Some particularly irritating faces and colors I'll just skip over rather than read anything that poster might have to say.

E. Problems Uploading Flag?
Problem: Uploading My Flag (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=409929)
It seems that there is a problem with the uploading of own flag. It seems that the system upload it, but it doesn't show the correct new flag. Solutions?
The old flag is still in your browser's cache
If you're using Internet Explorer,
Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files
Then refresh the page and your new flag should show.

F. Rewards for 3+ Billion Nations

Due to various reasons both personal and not, I will not be making any significant changes to the NS codebase in the forseeable future.

H. Merging of Nations
Someone inquired as to if they could combine nations of their own to create one main nation. That is not possible. Allowing it to happen would make players create hundreds of new nations, ask to combine them, and create a massive trillion population nation.

Example of easy abuse,
I create five-hundred puppets (5 million population each), and ask that they be merged.
or
I create puppets and "grow" them for the sole purpose of boosting my population.
Every second ostentatious individual in the game would be requesting population mergers.

I. Internal Error?
The error looks like this:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, admin@jolt.co.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
What to do in case you receive this message…
Just reload the page and you'll be fine. Jolt is straining under the weight of the forums.
J. Password for NS and forums different?
If you change your password in www.nationstates.net, the password change does not carry over to the forums. Your password will still be the original password of yours.

Have you ever changed your nation's password before? If you change your NS password, the change doesn't carry over to Jolt. It happens to me, even though my nation has a different password now, my forum password is the same as it was the date we were moved from the old forums (the date I registered).
K. E-Mail Verification
Sometimes, when you register your e-mail address so that you can post in the forums, you’ll receive a message saying this:
"Uh-oh
Your email verification failed. Please check to ensure that you have copied the entire URL to the locaton bar in your browser.
If you continue to have problems. Please submit a getting help request."
It does that sometimes.
It does in fact validate the account (hence why you can actually post on the forum.)
Being able to go into the forums and post about it means that it actually validated the e-mail address, despite the message.

L. Re-founding a Region
If the founder dies of inactivity, a new founder can be made.
Sure. Have everyone leave, let the Region autodelete, and move back in to re-Found.
Note: You’ll have to wait for the game to update itself for the region to get deleted. Be patient until then.
M. What if the Delegacy changes after the former delegate voted?
An odd question about delagates and voting (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=408147)
Only the current Delegate gets to cast a vote with the backing of the endorsements received in their given region.
Therefore, if a Delegate change occurs during a UN resolution, Delegate A (ousted) will have the additional endorsements votes withdrawn while maintaining their personal choice of yay and nay. Thus, Delegate B (new) will have the additional endorsement vote added to their personal choice of yay or nay.

Is there a record of previous laws and such kept for nations? It would be cool if I could see all the decisions I've made...
Your last four decisions are recorded in your national description, though.
If you'd like, you can copy all of the issues you answer into Word, so that you can remember exactly how you've answered them in the past. So if there's something you want to change about your government, you could look back and see exactly what you did, and perhaps what you can do to change it.

For whatever reason, that nation has decided to ignore your telegrams. As long as you are on that list, you won't be able to send them any messages.
It's the nation's decision, and there's really nothing the mods can do about it, but if you really don't know what you did to make them ignore you, try asking one of your other region mates to ask them for you.
