You are correct. It appears that a post, or possibly the whole thread, has become corrupted.
None of our forum tools can touch it. It did allow itself to be moved to our UBER SECRIT hideout so we could beat on it with crowbars and such, but anything we use also gets that same "There seems to have been a slight problem with the jolt.co.uk public forums database" message.
We'll try to bring it to the attention of the Jolt admins and see if they have any bigger crowbars in their toolboxes. but I wouldn't hold out much hope for it. It's been my experience that such problems can't be resolved except by purging the offensive thread from the database.
We're sorry that you can't recover the posts that were in it, but there's really nothing anyone can do at this point. If somebody kept offline summaries, perhaps you can pick up where it left off.
