With the space small already that is given, when you put
code in (e.g. colors, fonts, bold, stuff like that) it counts
as writing, so you can't write as much. I would be
satisfied by just getting more space.

Isn't the current space enough? You don't want the entire page crowded by the WFE.

(Just my thoughts)

I know that if there is too much space the page will be crowded by the WFE, but I don't think that with coding font stuff, the space is enough.

Now, I've run into problems with image limits (I think max of ten images/smilies per post) but I had no idea there was a limit on how long a post could be.

As a sidenote, there is a limit on posts. I've reached it on the pics thread :p It's 50000 characters.

From experimenting, I think the limit on WFE is 550 characters.

Not everything has to be a mod conspiracy you know, God. :rolleyes:

Alternatively... you learn it from hearing your friends complain about it. And I just reached it on the pic thread. I'm not quite sure what to do yet... :p

But it's all a mod conspiracy. That's life on NS. Deal with it.

I don't know how hard this could be (just an idea) but what about the coding not counting against the total count? Or making it so you can't go past certan amount of lines of text.

Fun bit of trivia: before the move, Jolt's limit was a paltry 10k words. GMC and I bitched almost constantly to get it upped to 50k (2000 more than NS', actually)
